Privacy Policy
Your privacy, in plain words.
Last updated: July 4, 2026
This policy explains what My Life In A Wheelchair (the website and the Android app) collects, why, and what your rights are. I keep it as short and honest as I can.
Who runs this
This site and app are run by Raul Alfredo Montes as a personal project. Contact: alfredomontes92@gmail.com.
Information I collect
Account info you give me (name and email if you sign up or contact me). Basic device data (device type, language, approximate region). Content you choose to send: messages, comments, or gallery submissions.
How I use it
To reply to your messages, run the site and app, keep them secure, and improve them. I do not sell your data. Ever.
Analytics and cookies
I use standard, privacy-respecting analytics to see which pages people visit. Cookies keep you signed in and remember your language choice. You can clear them from your browser or device at any time.
Third-party services
The site uses secure hosting and a database provider to store content, and Google Play distributes the Android app. These providers only receive what's needed to operate their service.
Children
This service isn't directed at children under 13. If you believe a child sent me personal info, email me and I'll delete it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted. Email alfredomontes92@gmail.com and I'll respond within 30 days.
Data retention
I keep account and message data for as long as you have an account, plus a short period afterward for legal and backup reasons.
Security
I take reasonable steps to protect your data, but no online service is 100% secure. If something ever goes wrong, I'll tell you.
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll update the date at the top and, for meaningful changes, notify you inside the app or by email.
